Counseling Services
The following services reflect areas of my practice where I hold extensive training and experience. If you have questions about another form of therapy, I am always happy to explore it with you or connect you to the right resource.

1
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
a structured, short-term form of psychotherapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative patterns of thought and behavior. It’s based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected, and by challenging unhelpful thinking and learning healthier coping strategies, people can improve their emotional well-being.
CBT is evidence-based and commonly used to treat conditions like anxiety, depression, panic disorders, and phobias.
2
Attachment Therapy
a focus on how early relationships with caregivers shape your emotional bonds and behavior in adulthood. It helps you understand and heal insecure attachment patterns, often by building trust and healthier ways of relating in current relationships.
3
Brainspotting (BSP)
access and process unresolved trauma or emotional distress by using eye positions to locate “brainspots,” which are points in the visual field that correspond to areas of stored emotional or somatic pain in the brain. You're guided to notice thoughts, feelings, and body sensations while focusing on the brainspot, allowing the nervous system to process and release the underlying trauma.
4
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
a therapy model that views the mind as made up of different “parts” (like inner voices or subpersonalities), each with its own feelings and roles. It helps you identify and understand these parts, such as protective, wounded, or critical voices, while connecting to their core “Self,” which is calm, compassionate, and capable of healing.
5
Inner Child Healing
helps you reconnect with and nurture the wounded or neglected parts of themselves from childhood. The goal is to process unmet needs or painful experiences and bring comfort, safety, and compassion to those younger parts, leading to greater emotional balance and self-acceptance.
6
Integrative-Faith Counseling
if you so choose, this combines psychological therapy with your spiritual or religious beliefs, using both faith-based principles and clinical techniques to support emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.
